American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient teaching hospital setting.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting within a teaching hospital
• Pediatric patient population
• Average daily caseload of 6-7 patients
• Day shift schedule, preferred Monday-Thursday 8:30AM-6:30PM, open to 5 days per week if needed
• Uses Cerner for documentation and charting
• Multidisciplinary rehab team model
• Equipment available includes parallel bars, LiteGait, and FES
• Expected to bill 25 hours per week while scheduled 29 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required, 5 years preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Active state PT license required at time of submission; license required if applicable
• Compact or state license required for MD/VA

Additional Information

• Main responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of pediatric patients in an outpatient setting
• Any scrub color accepted for dress code
• Open to first-time travelers
• Locals accepted with no mileage restriction at the same bill rate
• One guaranteed holiday with preference consideration; second holiday based on facility need
• RTO limited to a maximum of 6 days; a full week off requires an additional week to be added at the end of the contract
• Returning candidates must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year
• Pre-start training modules must be completed prior to orientation
