Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week outpatient rehab assignment at a hospital-based clinic, treating adults with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Details

• Hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting
• Treats adult patients with speech/language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Proficiency with completing and interpreting outpatient Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) is preferred
• Works alongside an interdisciplinary team including OT and PT
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 8:00am to 6:00pm

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted SLP license (license required if applicable)
• Current ASHA CCC-SLP certification
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with adult outpatient speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations and treatment
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Conduct outpatient evaluations and treatment for adults with speech/language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) as needed
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• First-time travelers will be considered
