American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a Chest Pain and Stroke Center hospital in Charlotte, NC, requiring flexibility to float across a multi-facility region.

Details

• Work in a 337-bed acute care hospital featuring a Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center, and Level III NICU
• Respiratory Care department serves 300+ patients per day
• Patient population includes adult care and NICU (no pediatric outside of NICU)
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• 75% of holidays required
• Floating required across Region 2 facilities, including Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, freestanding EDs, and Central Division (CMC Main, CMC Mercy, and Levine Children's Hospital)
• Equipment includes Servo ventilators (I, U, and Airs), Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, and bubble CPAP
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Current RRT or CRT national certification
• Active NC Respiratory Therapy license (license required if applicable)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Minimum 12 months of core work experience in the unit specialty area, with most recent experience within the last year
• Experience across critical care, CVICU, NICU, ED, progressive care, and all floor therapies required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
• 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
