Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist for a 26-week contract, treating adult and geriatric patients across a regional territory with a flexible schedule including a monthly weekend rotation.

Details

• Home health setting serving adult and geriatric patients, with a high volume of orthopedic cases
• Patient load of 6-8 patients per day
• Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM–5:00 PM), with a weekend rotation approximately once per month
• Territory covers a 40–50 mile radius; travelers must be flexible with territory assignments
• Charting is completed via HCHB (no prior OASIS or HCHB experience required — training provided)
• A cell phone is provided for all calls and documentation

Requirements

• Current CA PT license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of recent home health experience preferred; acute care or SNF experience will also be considered
• Current BLS certification required
• No prior HCHB or OASIS experience required
• Must be flexible and adaptable to varying territory assignments
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Scrubs in any color are required; jeans are not permitted
• No on-call requirements
