Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant with an Indiana or Compact license in hand for a short-term acute care hospital position requiring Cerner experience and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting
• PTA position working day shifts, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• At least one weekend shift required per month
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Royal blue scrubs required with black shoes
• Free parking available
• Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital

Requirements

• Active Indiana or Compact PTA license must be in hand at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required; both AHA and RQI formats are accepted
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA required
• Cerner charting experience required
• 2 supervisor references required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Additional Information

• Pending Indiana state licensure is not accepted — license must be in hand prior to submission
• Local candidates (Indiana residents) are accepted for this Allied position
• Indiana residents who are current or former permanent or PRN employees of the facility must have a minimum 12-month gap before being eligible to apply as a traveler
• Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within the health system are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility — out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break
• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
