Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position at an outpatient surgery center, with day shifts only and no call, weekends, or holidays required.

• Outpatient surgery center PACU setting
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• No on-call, no weekend, and no holiday requirements
• Pediatric patient experience is strongly preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• PACU nursing experience required
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
• Must reside more than 150 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Additional Information

• Pediatric PACU experience is strongly preferred
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances that could cause a positive result, including CBD products, prior to arrival
• RTO requests are limited to no more than 2–3 consecutive weekdays
