Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a 13-week travel contract in California, requiring active CA RN licensure and hands-on cardiovascular surgical experience including CABG and valve procedures.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting, Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) unit
• Shift: 12-hour mids, 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM, day/evening rotation
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• On-call responsibilities required
• First to float policy applies
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; must be active at time of consideration — pending licenses not accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; pending certifications not accepted
• COVID vaccination required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience with CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy procedures required
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
• Orientation is 12 hours
