American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at an outpatient surgery center in Maryland, requiring 2 years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Day shift position, 8 hours, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 40 hours per week, 13-week contract
• Every 3rd week includes a late week rotation
• Outpatient surgical setting with 5 ORs and 4 procedure rooms
• Adult and pediatric patient population
• Multiple service lines including Orthopedics, EP, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Facial Plastics, Cataracts, Pain, and Breast Oncology
• No on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements
• Free parking available on site
• EMR: Epic (experience required)

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Team includes 2 lead clinical OR RNs and 1 OR charge RN, supported by a resource team of 2–3 RNs and 2–3 surgical techs
• Staffing levels flex based on case volume
