American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a day shift travel contract at a hospital in Elizabethtown, KY, requiring multiple certifications including ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital in Elizabethtown, KY
• Provides urgent and emergency medical care to patients across all acuity levels
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky or a compact state currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, ENPC, and TNCC
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Previous nursing experience preferred
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety measures
• Must provide date of birth (MM/DD) and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments, develops individualized care plans, and implements nursing interventions within scope of practice
• Coordinates admission, transfer, and discharge activities including patient and family education
• Delegates tasks appropriately and monitors accuracy of care provided by other team members
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, and documentation audits
• Nursing practice is guided by evidence-based practice, current research, and hospital policies and procedures
