American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Hospice/Palliative Care position in a home care and hospice setting, requiring at least 1 year of recent hospice field experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Details

• Home care and hospice field setting
• Caseload-based role supporting increased hospice referrals
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospice field experience required; 2 years of overall RN experience preferred
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• One supervisory professional reference from within the past year required for consideration
• Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Manage and support patient caseloads and accommodate increased referral volume
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Any scrub color is acceptable
• Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted at a reduced travel pay rate
