American Traveler is seeking an experienced acute care Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years of inpatient adult speech and swallow experience for a 13-week hospital assignment in Pomona, CA.

Details

• Inpatient acute care hospital setting
• Focuses on adult speech, swallow, and language/cognitive assessments and treatment
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm or 9am–6pm (1-hour lunch)
• 5x8-hour shifts per week
• Every 3rd weekend required

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted SLP license (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient adult speech and swallow experience
• Acute care hospital experience required
• MBSS certification preferred
• Current BLS certification

Additional Information

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care addressing swallowing, language, and cognitive status
• Treat adult acute care patients in an inpatient hospital environment
• Business casual attire with a white lab coat required
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
