American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU night shift travel position in Somerset, KY, requiring a minimum of 1 year of acute care experience and AHA-certified BLS and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract in an acute care hospital ICU
• 295-bed acute care facility serving an 11-county region in south central Kentucky
• Facility offers specialized cardiac care and an advanced neurosurgery program with Spine Center accreditation
• Patient ratios: 4:1 on day shift, 5:1 on night shift
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• EMR: Meditech
• Float requirement: may be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• AHA-certified BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1–2 years of acute care experience required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
