American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring a minimum of 4 years of adult and pediatric ED experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Care Center of a large, high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• High-volume environment with diverse and severe cases including complex trauma
• Both adult and pediatric patient populations
• Night shift, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week
• 4 weekend shifts per month required
• Block scheduling is generally not approved
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license — GA or compact license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• TNCC and ENPC preferred
• Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience
• Proven experience in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments
• Background in high-volume hospitals with diverse and severe cases required — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
