American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week travel contract at an ambulatory surgery center in Vail, CO, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and active CO or compact RN license.

• Position is based at an ambulatory surgery center in Vail, CO
• OR Circulator role within a surgical services setting
• Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts per week
• 13-week contract duration

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or valid compact state RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• HIPAA compliance required

Additional Information

• Responsible for circulating duties in the OR, including patient safety oversight, medication administration, and procedural assistance
• Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Performs competent patient assessments, prioritization, and critical thinking in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Provides patient and family education to support plan of care and informed healthcare decision-making
• Delegates care appropriately in accordance with Colorado nursing statutes
