American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting in South Carolina, requiring 1+ year of outpatient PT experience and current BLS certification.

Details

• Outpatient setting, not located on a hospital campus
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
• 1:1 patient ratio with 45-minute sessions
• No weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements
• No floating to other units or sister facilities
• Charting via Epic
• Free parking on site

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient PT experience required
• Active South Carolina PT license required; candidates with a pending license may be considered, but must be fully licensed prior to starting
• Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
• SC Driver's License and SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted provided they have outpatient PT experience
• Former permanent or PRN staff at this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; non-local candidates are prioritized
• All requested time off must be disclosed upfront; approval is based on facility needs
• Completion modules are required prior to the start of the assignment

• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
