American Traveler is seeking a PTA with outpatient orthopedic experience, including personal injury and workers' comp, for a 13-week assignment in Silver Spring, MD.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting with full support staff, including front office and PT Aides/Techs
• Caseload averages 12–14 patients per day, approximately 60 patients per week
• Patient population includes orthopedic, personal injury, and workers' compensation cases
• Schedule consists of 3 shifts from 7:00 AM–3:00 PM and 2 shifts from 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, with Fridays being an early day
• No weekend shifts required
• EMR system is RainTree
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active PTA license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics, personal injury, and workers' compensation required
• New graduates will not be considered
• RainTree EMR experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates are welcome to apply at the same rate
• Orientation (FDI) is provided by the Clinic Director a few days before the assignment start date, typically covering staff introductions, EMR orientation, and initial patient shadowing
• Clinicians are expected to carry a full patient caseload beginning on day 2 of the assignment
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
• Most clinic locations utilize double-booking practices, though the average daily patient caseload remains consistent at 12–14 patients
