American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 1+ year of experience for a 13-week travel contract in a rural Oklahoma hospital setting, treating both inpatient and outpatient populations across orthopedic, neurological, and wound care diagnoses.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient Physical Therapy department in a rural community hospital close to a metro area
• Collaborative PT/OT/ST team environment supporting a wide variety of diagnoses
• Patient diagnoses include orthopedic, neurological, and wound care conditions
• Day shift schedule, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 5x8 hours; facility may accommodate 4x9-10 hour days if needed
• No weekend hours required
• Call and float requirements are as needed per facility policy
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience
• Active PT license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment unless documentation of scheduled renewal is provided
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
• No gaps in employment of 90 or more days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of both inpatient and outpatient cases across orthopedic, neurological, and wound care diagnoses
• Low no-show rate in the outpatient setting
• Black scrubs required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but may be subject to a reduced bill rate
• Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts; after that, a minimum 1-year separation or reassignment to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
