American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of outpatient experience for a 13-week day shift contract in an outpatient primary care setting in Illinois.

• Outpatient primary care setting in Illinois
• Day shift schedule (specific hours TBD)
• 13-week contract
• Position may require floating to clinically appropriate units within the clinician's scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Illinois or compact eligibility; license required if applicable
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient PT experience
• Current BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt quickly to new environments

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating and diagnosing patients and developing comprehensive treatment plans for musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions
• Provides evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve physical function and quality of life
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure continuity of care
• Educates patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques
• Accurate and timely documentation required in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
