American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level IV NICU experience for a pediatric/neonatal night shift position at an academic medical center.

Details

• NICU unit within a large academic medical center
• Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
• Experience with high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators required on the unit
• Pediatric cardiac anomaly cases are part of the caseload
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule block
• Schedule is published in 6-week blocks
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC RRT license or Compact license required in hand at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, pediatrics, and ED (less may be considered for hard-to-fill scenarios)
• Level IV NICU experience required
• Proficiency with high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators required
• Experience with pediatric cardiac anomalies required
• Current certifications required in hand: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
• 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31 — no exemptions accepted
