American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift travel assignment in Augusta, GA, requiring at least 2 years of experience and proficiency with ventilators, CPAP, and ABGs.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory Therapy department of a 354-bed HCA Healthcare hospital in Augusta, GA
• Hospital is home to the largest burn center in the country, a Human Motion Institute, a Stroke Center, a Digestive Disease Center, and a Pelvic Health Institute
• Procedures and skills utilized include mechanical ventilation, CPAP, high-flow oxygen therapy (Hiflo), and arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Equipment used includes Dräger ventilators, Philips V60 CPAP machines, and Airvo2 high-flow devices
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Schedule includes some weekend shifts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; must be active and licensed where applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy, with active experience within the last 6 months
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Proficiency with mechanical ventilators, CPAP, high-flow oxygen therapy, and ABGs
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
