Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Step-Down / Progressive Care Unit position requiring at least 2 years of cardiac step-down experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Cardiac Step-Down (Progressive Care) unit within a hospital system operating across multiple campuses (Rock Island, Bettendorf, Moline, and Muscatine)
• Med/Surg float responsibilities may be required across all campuses
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at time of consideration; active Iowa RN license also required (or proof of application for an Iowa single-state or compact RN license)
• All certifications must be active at time of consideration — no pending certifications accepted
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac step-down experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• One supervisory performance evaluation or professional reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Must not have been employed by the health system within the past 12 months

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• Time-off requests are limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving week and Christmas/New Year's holiday windows, regardless of holidays worked
