American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a day shift travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital in Washington State.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level II Trauma and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, also designated as a teaching hospital with 629 staffed beds
• Responsibilities span multiple care areas including floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response
• Floating between units and all facilities within the state is required; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling required
• Patient ratios depend on acuity
• No on-call required
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• RRT scrubs may be any color
• No parking fee

Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Active Washington State RRT license required — license must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS required (and any additional certifications listed in the job description)
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO should be minimal; any requested time off must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• 13-week assignment
