Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient post-acute care setting in South Carolina, with home health experience preferred and a valid SC PTA license required prior to start.

Details

• Outpatient post-acute care setting
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Requirements

• Current SC PTA license required prior to start; pending license may be accepted for consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience required; 2 years preferred
• Home health experience preferred; all PTA experience will be considered
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests made after submission will not be honored
• Attendance policy is in effect for the duration of the contract — missing more than two shifts within a 13-week period without reasonable explanation may result in contract review or cancellation
• A pass/fail Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test is administered on the first day of orientation; candidates have one opportunity to pass
