Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a Rehab position in Fort Dodge, IA, requiring at least 1 year of PT experience with outpatient experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Primary setting is outpatient clinic (4 days/week), with 1 day per week in acute care inpatient setting
• Acute care weekend shifts (1–2 during the contract) are optional but welcomed by the facility; weekend on-call hours are Saturday 7:00 AM–12:00 PM and Sunday 7:00 AM–11:00 AM
• Acute weekend patients include ortho, neuro, and safety discharge cases only
• Traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Day shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 8 hours/day
• Epic EMR; experience required
• Orientation runs weekly, starting on Mondays

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience required; work history must reflect at least 24 months of current PT experience
• Outpatient PT experience required; inpatient experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active Iowa PT license required; non-Iowa-licensed candidates will be considered if willing and able to apply for the Iowa license
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license required
• License required if applicable
• At least one completed travel contract preferred
• Active state license and certifications must be current at time of consideration

• Traveler functions as part of an interdisciplinary team, contributing clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care
• Travelers who have been employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for this position
• Candidates must have a taxable address more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• Travelers are required to work 1–2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
• A supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years is preferred for consideration
