American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with 2+ years of experience for a 12-hour night shift position at a 337-bed hospital in Charlotte, NC, featuring a broad floating requirement across a multi-facility region.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory Therapy Services department of a 337-bed hospital with a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center designation
• Adult and NICU patient population (no pediatric floor patients)
• Department sees 300+ patients per day
• 12-hour night shifts, 1900–0700, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation
• Required to float across Region 2 facilities as needed, including Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, any Freestanding ED within the region, and Central Division (CMC Main, CMC Mercy, and Levine Children's Hospital) — candidates who are not agreeable to this floating requirement should not apply
• Uses Epic EMR
• Equipment includes Servo ventilators (I, U, and Airs), Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, and bubble CPAP

Requirements

• RRT or CRT credential required
• Active NC respiratory therapy license required (license required if applicable)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Minimum 12 months of core work experience in unit specialty area, with most recent experience within the last year
• Experience across critical care, CVICU, NICU, ED, progressive care, and all floor therapies required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidate's permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
