Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position requiring both L&D and Mother Baby experience, with night shift scheduling and float between units.

Details

• LDRP unit setting within a hospital environment
• Traveler will float between the Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units
• Patient population includes the incarcerated/prison population
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)

Requirements

• Active RN license — Tennessee or Compact license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, CPI (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI), NIH Stroke Scale, AWHONN, and NRP
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Both L&D and Mother Baby nursing experience required
• Comfort working with an incarcerated/prison patient population required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation consists of two 8-hour shifts followed by two 12-hour department-based orientation shifts
