American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting in Georgia, with a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active Georgia PT license required prior to consideration.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting
• Patient diagnoses include orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, and oncology conditions
• Schedule: Monday/Wednesday 9:00–17:45 and Tuesday/Thursday 7:30–17:00, totaling 36 hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within the facility and within scope of practice
• 16-week contract

Requirements

• Active Georgia PT license required prior to consideration
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above; charge nurse references not accepted) are strongly preferred — some units require two references on file for review

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted
• RTO is capped at a maximum of 7 days per contract; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• Travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday (counts as one), Christmas Eve/Christmas Day (counts as one), and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day (counts as one)
• No alternate shifts or schedule change requests are permitted; the posted schedule is firm
• Travelers must have been away from all system facilities for a minimum of one full year before returning as a travel employee
• The selected candidate will undergo a clinical review to assess fit prior to a final manager decision
• Full compliance with all onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time; delays in compliance may result in a two-week start date pushback
