American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift position at a major academic medical center in Virginia, requiring 2+ years of experience and RRT certification.

Details

• 13-week contract at a large academic medical center in Virginia
• Respiratory and Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (4x12-hour shifts)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Every other weekend required
• RTO is not approved for Memorial Day or the 4th of July
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• RRT certification required (must be in-hand)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; 4+ years preferred
• Virginia state license required if applicable; VA license pending is accepted provided a temporary license can be obtained before start date — a license in another state is required to be eligible for the temporary license
• ACCS certification preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Copies of required certifications required for consideration

• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must allow 12 months to pass before returning as a traveler
• Floating may occur in accordance with the candidate's clinical experience
