American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an outpatient physical therapy setting with a focus on orthopedic upper extremity cases and Epic EMR experience preferred.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting
• Primarily orthopedic upper extremity patient population
• Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:45 PM
• Epic EMR used; outpatient orthopedic experience highly preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current, active OT license (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Outpatient orthopedic experience highly preferred
• CHT certification is not required

Additional Information

• Perform patient evaluations using history, observation, and subjective/objective measurements to develop individualized plans of care
• Provide therapeutic interventions addressing musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular, and developmental impairments
• Maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes, treatment notes, charges, and discharge summaries within departmental timelines
• Collaborate with OTAs regularly to discuss patient cases and establish goals
• Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, treatment, and order clarification
• Contribute to departmental performance through professional development, competency training, mentorship, and performance improvement initiatives
• Maintain SC LLR continuing education requirements independently
