Description

American Traveler is seeking a PTA for an outpatient assignment at a short-term acute care facility, requiring 2+ years of experience and active Epic proficiency.

Details

• Outpatient PTA setting within a 108-bed short-term acute care facility
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• No on-call, weekend, or block scheduling requirements
• No floating between units within this assignment
• Charting is performed in Epic
• No-cost parking is available on site

Requirements

• Active PTA license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of recent PTA experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Travelers are expected to be available to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• RTO is expected to be minimal; all time-off requests must be disclosed prior to submission as post-offer requests may be denied
• Any color scrubs are acceptable for this role
