American Traveler is hiring an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and night shift availability on an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) setting in a hospital environment
• Night shift hours: 7p–7a on an alternating schedule of 3x12 and 4x12 hours per week (36/48-hour alternating weeks)
• 13-week travel contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required; candidates with 2 years must have experience in a high-volume or trauma facility
• 3 years of ED experience preferred
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could produce a positive result
