Description

American Traveler is hiring an Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week contract at a hospital-based inpatient rehab unit, working Monday–Friday day shifts with rotating weekend coverage.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with start times of 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 8:30 AM
• Monday through Friday schedule, 5x8-hour shifts
• Required to work 1 in every 3rd weekend, with a flex day off during the week to maintain 40 hours
• Charting performed in Cerner

Requirements

• Current, active OT license (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
• Prior hospital experience required
• Current BLS certification required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered provided they have prior hospital experience
• Grey scrubs required
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
