American Traveler is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a pediatric therapy position requiring Epic EMR experience and a master's degree in a related field.

Details

• Outpatient pediatric therapy setting (Therapy Annex)
• Treats speech, language, feeding, and swallowing impairments across pediatric populations
• Coordinates treatment interventions with pediatric PT and OT
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
• 26-week contract
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• Epic EMR used for daily documentation and charting

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
• Illinois SLP license required (issued by IDFPR); license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant SLP experience
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Evaluates and treats patients for speech, language, feeding, and swallowing impairments using standardized assessments
• Develops and implements individualized, goal-oriented plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and caregivers
• Conducts case history intake and integrates information from patients, families, teachers, and other professionals
• Educates patients and caregivers on home programs and therapeutic activities
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and students, including supervision of students as part of annual clinical ladder requirements
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
• RTO is not to exceed 7 days per 13-week period
• Candidates who have previously worked at this health system may not return until after a 6-month break if they have been on assignment there for 1 continuous year
