American Traveler seeks a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with Illinois SLP licensure and Master's degree for a 26-week contract in an outpatient therapy setting.

Details

• Outpatient pediatric therapy annex setting
• Treats patients of all ages with speech, language, and feeding/swallowing impairments
• Coordinates care with pediatric PT/OT teams
• Uses Epic for charting and documentation
• Day shift schedule, 8:00AM-4:30PM, 40 hours per week
• 26-week contract assignment
• May float as needed

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
• Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required (IDFPR) if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to administer standardized testing and assessments across the pediatric age range
• Epic EMR charting experience preferred

• Evaluates and treats patients of all ages with a focus on pediatric caseload
• Serves as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students
• Collects case history and integrates information from patients, families, caregivers, and other professionals
• Develops individualized treatment plans with measurable, achievable goals
• Assesses feeding and swallowing impairments using standardized testing
• Educates patients and caregivers on home programs and therapy activities
• Completes daily documentation and charging in the therapy EMR
• May participate in clinical ladder requirements including student supervision and in-service training
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract period
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates within this radius are not eligible
