Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position at an acute care hospital, requiring Epic EMR experience and the ability to float to other units and campuses as needed.

Details

• 13-week travel contract
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Weekend work required, typically no more than every other weekend
• Up to 2 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule (up to 4 per 13-week contract); no more than 1 call shift per week
• While on call for night shift, call window is limited to 4:00 PM–8:00 PM only; no call obligation after 8:00 PM
• Floating to other units and/or campuses within the health system may be required based on census needs; floating will only occur to units where the traveler is qualified and competency has been documented
• Epic EMR with a minimum of 1 year of experience required

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a respiratory therapy role
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the contracted campus to be eligible for this night shift RRT position
• A valid driver's license and Social Security Number are required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• RRT credential is mandatory — CRTs are not eligible for this position
• Holidays are not guaranteed off and holiday coverage is expected
• Requests for time off (RTO) should be kept to a minimum
