American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an Acute Care Hospital position at a Level II Trauma Center, with Epic EMR experience required.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 379 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma Center
• PT Acute Care unit with 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00–17:00)
• No on-call, weekend, or block scheduling requirements
• Travelers may be required to float between all facilities within the state
• Free surface parking available on-site

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care PT experience required
• Active PT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal RTO is expected; requests should be disclosed upfront, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• Licensed nursing personnel should wear solid navy blue scrubs; print tops are not acceptable in most units
