American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract at an acute care hospital, with day shifts and a daily patient load of 7.

Details

• Work in a pediatric OT unit within a 212-bed acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Daily patient load of 7
• Floating between facilities within the state may be required; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
• No on-call requirement
• Epic EMR used; experience required
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active OT license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be proficient and able to work independently
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; approval is based on facility needs and scheduling requests related to outside employment will not be accommodated
• Holiday RTO will be submitted as preferences only
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
