Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and a minimum of 15–18 months of recent experience for a 13-week acute care travel assignment in Georgia.

Details

• Acute care SLP department within a hospital setting, supporting patients throughout the facility based on physician orders
• Treats a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses including ICU patients, stroke/neurological conditions, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive disorders
• MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) and FEES (Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) proficiency is a plus but not required
• 8-hour day shifts, 8:00am–4:30pm
• 5 shifts per week, Monday through Friday with weekend rotation required (minimum 2 weekends per 4-week period, with 4 weekends per 4-week period preferred)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Georgia SLP license required if applicable
• CCC-SLP certification required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 15–18 months of recent experience within the SLP specialty
• Prior acute care experience preferred
• Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a minimum 2-year break before being considered
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront prior to offer acceptance
