American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Home Health position in Spartanburg, SC, with BLS certification and an SC PTA license required for a 13-week contract.

Details

• Home Health setting within a post-acute services program
• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• 13-week contract
• Uses Epic EMR; recent Epic experience preferred but not required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Requirements

• Active SC PTA license required prior to start date; pending license considered for initial review
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience required; 2 years preferred
• Home Health experience preferred; all PTA experience will be considered
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial application; RTO requests made after submission will not be considered
• The facility maintains an attendance policy for travelers — contracts may be reviewed for cancellation if more than two shifts are missed per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation
• Orientation includes pass/fail testing; candidates have one attempt to pass
