American Traveler is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of acute care experience for a 13-week hospital contract in California requiring a valid CA OT license.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule working Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (5x8s)
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active California OT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) – Healthcare Provider certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant acute care OT experience

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence, for persons with disabilities or developmental delays
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
