Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a 26-week travel contract at a 142-bed Level III trauma hospital.

Details

• 142-bed acute care hospital with a Level III trauma designation
• Physical Therapy department treating post-op, neurological, general debility, COPD, and CHF patient populations
• 8-hour day shifts, 0800–1700, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)
• Weekend rotation of 1 weekend every 4–6 weeks
• Holiday coverage required for all holidays unless RTO is pre-approved
• May float between two facility locations
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience, with most recent experience within the last year
• Current BLS certification required
• Active state PT license required (license required if applicable)
• 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration

• Department onboarding/orientation is 4–5 days
• No on-call or call-back requirements

• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Former employees who held a permanent position must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before being eligible
