American Traveler is hiring a Travel Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and primary SNF rehab background for a 26-week assignment at a hospital and skilled nursing facility in Honoka'a, Hawaii.

Details

• Hospital and skilled nursing facility (SNF) rehabilitation therapy setting
• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 5-day work week with possible weekend day coverage (Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat)
• Department operates 7 days per week
• Up to 88 hours worked per two-week period
• Patient population includes adults across acute, SNF, rehab, and outpatient settings
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Active Hawaii OT license required prior to start of assignment — license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience working with adults in at least one of the following settings: acute care, SNF, rehab hospital, or outpatient
• Primary experience in SNF rehab strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required by hospital operations

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic assessments and prepare and implement treatment plans across the full range of OT cases, including habilitation and rehabilitation services
• May provide all OT services for the unit or facility under general supervision
• Services are provided in a 24/7 operational environment
• Candidates must arrive at the facility the Friday prior to their Monday start date to complete employee health and HR clearance — no exceptions
• All compliance documents must be completed and uploaded no later than 1 week before the start date
• Active state license must be in hand at the time of the employee health/HR appointment
