American Traveler is hiring an experienced Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of acute care experience for a hospital-based OT position in California requiring an active CA OT license.

Details

• Acute care hospital OT unit
• Day shift schedule, 8:00–17:30, Sunday through Thursday
• 5x8-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active California OT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant acute care OT experience
• 2 supervisory references from within the past two years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs to help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence, for persons with disabilities or developmental delays
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday off request will be approved during the contract
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
