American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with Epic experience and Level 1 trauma background for an acute care hospital setting in Urbana, IL.

Details

• Full-time day shift position, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
• Acute care hospital therapy unit
• Treats patients across all age groups

Requirements

• Active Illinois OT license required (temp license accepted, if applicable)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant OT experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required

Additional Information

• Evaluates patients and develops individualized plans of care incorporating functional goals, treatment strategies, outcomes, and discharge planning
• Collaborates with patients, families, and the medical team to communicate patient progress, status changes, and discharge recommendations
• Provides supervision to COTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory guidelines
• Utilizes standardized outcomes measures and completes documentation per regulatory and organizational standards
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and students
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO is not to exceed 7 days for the duration of the 13-week contract
• Travelers who have been on continuous assignment at this health system for 1 year must take a 6-month break before returning to any location within the system
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
