Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a night shift adult and NICU position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active NJ state license.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based respiratory therapy unit serving adult and NICU patient populations
• Rotational work on a pediatric floor (non-PICU) for candidates with pediatric experience
• Equipment includes Servo I, Servo U, Trilogy, Oscillator, V60, and Vapotherm
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Floating between two campuses (Atlantic City and Mainland) is required
• No on-call required
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local rate differential

Requirements

• CRT or RRT credential accepted
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• NICU experience preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Active NJ state license required for consideration (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Two current professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services to adult and NICU patients, with rotational pediatric floor coverage for experienced candidates
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at time of consideration
• 13-week contract assignment
