Description

American Traveler is seeking a credentialed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift travel assignment in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit, with Epic experience preferred and first-time travelers considered.

Details

• Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current RRT credential required
• Valid state RT license required if applicable
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experienced RTs only — new graduates will not be considered
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are eligible to apply, provided they have sufficient RT experience
• Upon assignment start, the unit manager may assign staff to an Emergency Team, which may require remaining at the facility until an emergency event passes or serving as part of a relief team
• Candidates who are not comfortable with potential emergency response obligations should not apply for this position
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
• All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
