Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift travel assignment in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit, open to first-time travelers with solid RT experience.

Details

• Position is in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at an acute care medical center
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current RRT credential and valid state RT license (license required if applicable)
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications — all certs must be AHA-issued
• Experienced RTs only; new graduates will not be considered
• First-time travelers are eligible to apply provided they meet experience requirements
• Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Upon accepting an assignment, the unit manager may designate you to an Emergency Team, with an expectation to remain at the facility until the event passes or to serve on a relief team
• Comfort with emergency team assignments is required — this expectation is part of accepting a contract with this facility
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
• Epic EMR experience, while not required, is strongly preferred
