American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics position at a large health system in New Orleans, requiring active ACLS and BLS certifications.

Details

• 12-week travel assignment at an acute care hospital in New Orleans, LA
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Current RRT credential and valid state RT license required if applicable
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experienced RTs only — new graduates will not be considered
• Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered, provided they have sufficient RT experience
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
• Upon starting the assignment, the unit manager may assign staff to an Emergency Team, which may require remaining at the facility during or after an emergency event or serving on a relief team
• Candidates should be comfortable with emergency response expectations before applying
