Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 1.5+ years of experience for a night shift inpatient acute care position at an academic medical center in Oregon.

Details

• Inpatient acute hospital respiratory therapy department providing a full spectrum of respiratory care services
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Floating to an affiliate hospital nearby may be required; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate — no radius restriction applies

Requirements

• Current RRT credential required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1.5 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Active Oregon (OR) license required; pending OR license may be acceptable if obtained promptly after offer
• Epic charting experience required
• Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required for consideration — charge nurse references are not acceptable
• COVID vaccination proof required; no exemptions
• License required if applicable

• Must be willing to be trained in other areas
• Candidates who are former employees or previous travelers at this facility must provide a reference from the manager who supervised them there
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• RTO of 5 days or fewer per 13-week contract; RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and may not exceed 2 weeks total
