American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting in Urbana, IL, with new graduates welcome to apply.

Details

• Acute care hospital therapy unit
• Day shift schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• No floating requirements
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• Level 1 Trauma experience required

Requirements

• Illinois PT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
• New graduates will be considered
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients of all ages, developing and modifying individualized plans of care, and collaborating with patients, families, and the medical team throughout the rehabilitation process
• Conducts patient screenings, performs examinations, and selects appropriate assessment methods based on patient history and chief complaint
• Provides supervision to PTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory guidelines
• Communicates patient status, activity and transfer recommendations, and discharge disposition needs to the broader care team
• Utilizes standardized outcomes measures and completes documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
• RTO is not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
• Travelers who have been on assignment at this health system for 1 year must take a 6-month break in service before returning to any location within the system
