American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient clinic serving patients from birth to age 21, with a focus on CP, Autism, and developmental conditions.

Details

• Outpatient pediatric therapy clinic setting
• Patients served range from birth to 21 years of age
• Primary diagnoses include Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and genetic/developmental conditions
• Expected caseload of 25 billed hours per week, with scheduling at 29–30 hours to account for cancellations
• Approximately 1–2 evaluations per week in addition to ongoing treatment sessions
• Sessions are primarily 1:1, with occasional co-treats as clinically appropriate
• Cerner used for documentation
• Monday through Thursday schedule, no weekends
• No on-call or floating requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Maryland OT license required — license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric OT experience
• Current BLS certification

• Clinic includes a Seating and Positioning Clinic, Assistive Technology Clinic, and a Feeding Program
• Therapy team consists of one OT, one PT, and one SLP, supported by a part-time rehab tech
• Clinic is well-equipped with therapy equipment to support a variety of treatment needs
• Orientation and training are provided
• Comfortable attire required — scrubs recommended; jeans and open-toed shoes are not permitted
• Free on-site garage parking is available
• No holiday coverage required
• All time-off and scheduling requests should be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
